iGEM Dundee 2014

This pqsA promoter region was hooked up to an mCherry gene from Dundee iGEM 2011 BBa_K562011. This was then co-expressed with Pseudomonas aeruginosa PqsR from BBa_K1157001. In an E. coli chassis the device was exposed to commercially-available PQS, grown for several hours, then immunoblotted for mCherry production (Dundee Figure 1). The device did not produce enough mCherry for detection using this method.
